We accept all major credit and debit cards except AMEX. There is no charge for debit card transactions, a surcharge of 2.5% is added to all credit card transactions. Please be assured we DO NOT charge a booking fee for our holidays. Our office opening hours are: Mon-Fri 9.30am-5.30pm; Sat 10.00am-5.00pm. We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.

Wheal Dream is located within the historic Downalong area of St Ives overlooking the golden sands and turquoise waters of Bamaluz beach, just moments from the picturesque harbour. This fabulous Cornish cottage is bursting with original features and character and offers some fabulous views across St Ives Bay. The property also provides secure garaged parking for 1 vehicle which is so rare to find in this part of St. Ives.

This delightful cottage is arranged over 2 floors. Granite steps lead up to the small courtyard and access into the property. Stepping inside the front door brings you straight into the light and welcoming living area offering 2 x 2 seater sofas, a flatscreen TV with DVD player, electric coal effect woodburner, large coffee table, side unit, nest of tables, corner table and window seat offering views across the bay.

To the right of the entrance hall is the comfortable dining space offering a pine dining table with 4 matching chairs and a little window which looks out onto its bijous courtyard garden. Leading off the dining area is the kitchen which features its original Victorian range oven (which is for show and not available for use) and is well equipped for your stay. The kitchen is fully integrated, facilities include a washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer. There is also a small table seating for two in the kitchen along with a microwave. The tiled main bathroom is situated adjacent to the dining room and kitchen and offers a small shower cubicle, toilet and wash hand basin.

A sweeping staircase leads from the lounge up to the bedroom accommodation. The master bedroom offers a 4ft 6" double bed, built-in wardrobes, vanity unit with wash basin, wall mirror and heated towel rail. The master bedroom overlooks the pretty courtyard. Bedroom 2 is a twin room with high ceiling beams, offering sea views, two 3ft single beds, double wardrobe, bedside table with lamp and free standing, full length mirror. There is a convenient WC on this level (opposite the master bedroom).

Wheal Dream really is a "Gem" and looks set be a hit with our guests this year as it ticks lots of boxes. It is sure to leave a lasting impression and be a Cornish Gem you will want to rebook time and time again. Wheal Dream is suitable for families and couples looking for a prime St. Ives location with views and that all important secure garaged car parking space. Seasoned guests to St. Ives will appreciate how hard it is finding a holiday home with parking in this part of town. This property has just hit our website (Feb), so plenty of weeks are available for now so book up early and be one of our first guests to enjoy!
