- There is no parking available with this property however, you are able to purchase a "Rover" parking permit (requires at least 10 days notice) which will entitle you to stay in any of the council run long stay car parks throughout Cornwall. Weekly tickets are also available to purchase from the car park itself, if the 10 day notice period has passed. Please note that purchasing your ticket in this way will only entitle you to use the car park it was purchased from. Please also be aware that neither of these tickets will guarantee you a space. Ask a member of the team for further details. Your nearest car park is The Island, just a couple of minutes walk from the property

The standard changeover day is Friday

If your booking is made outside of office hours at the weekend and over Bank Holidays we may take up to 48 hours to return your call. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to call us to confirm your booking at your preferred time within 48 hours of making your online reservation. We accept all major credit and debit cards except AMEX. There is no charge for debit card transactions, a surcharge of 2.5% is added to all credit card transactions. Please be assured we DO NOT charge a booking fee for our holidays. Our office opening hours are: Mon-Fri 9.30am-5.30pm; Sat 10.00am-5.00pm. We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.

The Old Bakehouse is a good sized two bedroom Cornish cottage, located in the heart of St. Ives downalong area, very close to Porthmeor beach. Its location provides quick and easy access to the multitude of shops, cosmopolitan restaurants, art galleries and golden sandy beaches that St. Ives has to offer. The closest beaches are Porthgwidden, Porthmeor and The Harbour which are all less than 5 minutes walk from the cottage.
On entering the property, the entrance hall leads to a lounge area providing 2 x 2 seater sofas, coffee table, large floor lamp and a window seat. Entertainment facilities include a digital TV with Freeview, DVD player along with a bookcase with a selection of books.
The kitchen/dining area is also located on the ground floor complete with white kitchen units and a slate floor. Kitchen facilities include an electric oven and electric hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment. There is a large rectangular dining table with 4 chairs.
Stairs lead from the entrance hall to the first floor where the 2 bedrooms and bathroom can be found. The spacious master bedroom offers a 4ft 6 double bed, bedside tables/lamps, double fitted wardrobe, cupboard with shelves, chest of drawers, mirror, window seat and a comfy arm chair. Bedroom 2 is a small single room with a 1 single bed, bedside cabinet/lamp and a window seat. the wardrobe for this room is located on the landing just outside the bedroom. The newly fitted main bathroom offers a good sized shower cubicle (with raindrop head), sink, mirror, heated towel ladder and toilet.
The Old Bakehouse is well equipped and enjoys an excellent St. Ives location. It is perfect for couples or small families wanting to escape to the Cornish Coast for a competitively priced weekly holiday. The owners of The Old Bakehouse also welcome dogs.
