We accept all major credit and debit cards except AMEX. There is no charge for debit card transactions, a surcharge of 2.5% is added to all credit card transactions. Please be assured we DO NOT charge a booking fee for our holidays. Our office opening hours are: Mon-Fri 9.30am-5.30pm; Sat 10.00am-5.00pm. We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.

Pintail Cottage was where Cornish Gems all started. It was the very first property to join our portfolio back in 2007. This well presented cottage is our highly recommended choice for enjoying short breaks through to summer holidays. Situated in Lelant just off the A30 and within 10 minutes of St Ives, Penzance, St Michaels Mount and Hayle the cottage is well placed for exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall.

This modern, newly built detached granite holiday cottage is located in the prestigious development that is Saltings Reach, only a 5 minute walk from the train station offering regular (until 10pm during the summer) access to Carbis Bay and St Ives and boasting stunning views of St Ives Bay, Lelant Saltings and West Cornwall Golf Course.

The entrance hall and lounge have been tiled throughout in slate making this property ideal for children and dogs (stair gate provided). The ground floor comprises a fully integrated kitchen/diner with washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven/gas hob and large fridge/freezer. The lounge offers a large comfy sofa and chair with two further leather chairs one with foot stall, gas fire, 32" flat screen digital TV with free view and DVD player with French doors leading from the lounge to the small patio area equipped with table and chairs. There is also a separate ground floor WC.

The upstairs is fully carpeted throughout with the main bedroom having an en-suite bathroom with power shower and the main bathroom a bath with a power shower.

This lovely holiday cottage is close to the Hayle Estuary, a well renowned RSPB nature reserve and offers great accessibility to the plethora of golden sandy beaches and attractions that West Cornwall has to offer. For walkers we are on the South West Coastal Path which can be followed from the cottage along the Saltings, across the golf course and via sand dunes and cliffs to Carbis Bay and St Ives.

The popular West Cornwall golf club, Cornwall's oldest, with its testing links layout and stunning views of St Ives Bay and Godrevy Lighthouse is only a short drive away. There are many award winning golden beaches that St. Ives and the West Cornwall peninsular has to offer within easy reach Lelant's PorthKidney allowing access for dogs all year on to its one mile beach.
