If your booking is made outside of office hours at the weekend and over Bank Holidays we may take up to 48 hours to return your call. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to call us to confirm your booking at your preferred time within 48 hours of making your online reservation. We accept all major credit and debit cards except AMEX. There is no charge for debit card transactions, a surcharge of 2.5% is added to all credit card transactions. Please be assured we DO NOT charge a booking fee for our holidays. Our office opening hours are: Mon-Fri 9.30am-5.30pm; Sat 10.00am-5.00pm. We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.

The Nurseries is a good sized, well presented, two bedroom Cornish cottage, located in the heart of Tehidy Country Park. This beautiful wooded country park is less than 1 mile from the coast and nearest beach Portreath (approx 10 miles up the North coast from St. Ives) Its rural location provides quick and easy access to the delights of the North Cornish coast. Over and above Portreath, the closest beaches also incude; Porthtowan, Gwithian, Chapel Porth and Trevaunance Cove (the latter are closer to/at St. Agnes).

On entering the property, the tiled entrance hall leads to a lounge area with wooden flooring providing a large leather modular corner group sofa, real open fire, large wall mounted flat screen TV, DVD player and surround system.

The well equipped kitchen/dining area is also located on the ground floor complete with kitchen units and a tiled floor. Kitchen facilities include a double electric oven with electric hob, dishwasher, combined washer/dryer, microwave, Smeg fridge/freezer. There is a large circular dining table with 6 chairs.

Stairs lead from the entrance hall to the first floor where the 2 bedrooms and bathroom can be found. The spacious master bedroom offers a 4ft 6 double bed, bedside cabinets/lamps, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, mirror. The master bedroom has painted wooden floor boards and a rug. Bedroom 2 is a twin room with 2 x 3ft single beds, bedside cabinets/lamp, wardrobe and wall mounted flat screen TV with integral DVD player.

The newly fitted main bathroom offers a roll top bath with shower over (with raindrop head plus hand held attachment), sink, mirror, radiator and toilet.

The Nurseries is simply wonderful and enjoys an excellent rural location. It is perfect for couples or small families wanting to escape to the Cornish Coast for a competitively priced break. Whatever the time of year, nothing can be better than coming back to enjoy the 'home from home' comforts and a real open fire!

The owners of The Nurseries allow dogs so your much loved canine friends are welcome. Dogs are permitted at Tehidy Country Park and the beaches are dog friendly all day every day from 1st October through to 1st April (restrictions usually apply during the main season).

The Nurseries is only a few miles off the A30, the main artery road throughout Cornwall so if you like to visit different areas you will appreciate the property is well placed to access the bounty that Cornwall has to offer.
