Cornish Gems Holiday Auction

The majority of Cornish Gems' properties that still have availability for the festive period will be going under the hammer between 10am - 4pm this coming Friday 25th November, in an auction.

With stays at our beautiful properties across Cornwall up for grabs, not only will guests bag a bargain for Christmas, but they will also help raise funds for charity. With fund raising for Children in Need headlining November, Cornish Gems have pledged to donate 50% of our commission earned by the auction to the charity.
Sales & Marketing Director of Cornish Gems, Julianne Shelton explains:

"In the US, Thanksgiving Day takes place on Thursday 24th November and the next day is traditionally the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. On this day, many retailers offer heavily discounted sales to kick start the main shopping season (similar to Boxing Day retail sales in the UK). Following this hugely popular US tradition, Cornish Gems have their own massive sale on Friday the 25th November in the style of a Christmas and New Year holiday auction extravaganza."

"Guests will have the opportunity to place a bid over the telephone, email, Facebook and Twitter for a stay in up to 3 of our properties; the highest bidder wins the holiday at their price - provided the appropriate reserve has been met."

The reserve prices will not be publicised, but some properties are discounted by over 50%, so festive bargain hunters will have the chance to grab a fantastic luxurious getaway.

Properties included within the auction will be showcased via Cornish Gems Facebook page as of 4pm on Monday 21st November.

Julianne added "This is the first time we have offered an auction of this nature. Guests choosing to stay with Cornish Gems over the festive season that win a holiday on the day of the auction will not only get the satisfaction of scooping a great deal, they are also helping to raise money for this poignant deserving charity."

The properties going under the hammer will only be showcased on our Facebook page, so "like" us on Facebook to be kept up to date with the properties up for bidding.

We will not publicise the reserve prices but we can tell you that some of our properties have been discounted by OVER 50%!! Good news for festive bargain hunters! Some exclusions apply.
