Step Inside

Step from the Fowey streets into the central hub of the cottage, the living space. A relaxing area to unwind beside the log burner, catch up with your favourite book and enjoy some well deserved time as a couple. Coastal blues and fresh whites evoke the nautical backdrop whilst themed poster prints of vintage Cornwall set the scene further. The ship shape kitchen is to the rear of the cottage and has been thoughtfully kitted out with all you could need. Cosy Cottage is set over 3 floors. Climb the staircase to the first floor where the generous contemporary bathroom ensures a peaceful pamper after the salty seas, soak in the deep bath and unwind. The master bedroom is located on the second floor offering a light and lofty space for a good nights rest, a neutral fresh colour palette again highlights the nautical surroundings. A second bedroom is available on request for smaller children if required.

From your Holiday Door

Cosy Cottage enjoys a plum location in Fowey, a stylish coastal town set on the banks of the River Fowey leading out to the blue sailing waters of St Austell Bay. The charming harbour and Fore Street are your backyard to explore as you pop out for a freshly brewed coffee, mooch around the artisan shops, tuck into Cornish cream teas and dine on the freshest of seafood plucked straight from the river. Take a day trip across on the Bodinnick Ferry and discover the beauty of Talland Bay, Looe and Polperro or hop on the passenger ferry to Polruan for a crab sandwhich, local ale and picture perfect view of Fowey. If messing about on boats is of appeal, hire kayaks for the day and head down river towards St Winnow and Golant. The waterways and inlets surrounding the area are simply stunning and teeming with bird life. Perhaps a sail across the bay? from yachting to dingy sailing the experts are never far away to show you the ropes. Fowey offers a superb base from which to explore from coast to coast.

If you are looking for a couples haven just moments from Cornish life, check in to Cosy Cottage whatever the season or occasion.
