Welcome to Fastnet! Set within the cool coastal landscape surrounding the wooden clad lodges of Sandy Acres, this beautiful holiday home from home offers a pure, scaled back Scandinavian style oozing simplicity, a welcome holiday layout and understated elegance. Check in with your family crew and slip straight into holiday mode amidst the white sand dunes of Hayle. Fastnet offers 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with open living spaces and large private decking complete with hot tub. The scene is set for sandy toes, glowing faces and lasting holiday memories. 

The Property

Fastnet is set at the far end of Sandy Acres tucked away in a sheltered spot amongst the dunes. A chunky wooden veranda wraps the front of the lodge leading you to your front door, step inside and feel right at home. A central hallway with storage is perfect for all of your beach kit from buckets to windbreaks, wellingtons to overcoats. Lead into the hub of the lodge, an open plan kitchen, dining and living space jam packed with Scandi style and luxury inspiration. Holiday life flows throughout the day from your early morning brew on the balcony before the house awakes, whipping up a hearty brunch in the cool kitchen, gathering on the sofas for an afternoon catch up to dressing the table for a slap up supper. Fastnet is perfect in all the seasons, for the cooler months the log burner offers an apres coast warmth or slide open the glass doors for a more al fresco ambiance. Bedroom three completes the ground floor. A central staircase leads to the first floor with the master bedroom and bedroom two. When it comes to style, these indulgent bedrooms have it in buckets and spades with a soft colour palette of creams, browns, blues and greens. Thoughtful artwork adorns the walls adding a vintage boho twist on the coastal surroundings. Each bathroom has been decked with the finest fixtures and fittings completing the luxury finish of Fastnet.

The wooden veranda becomes a secure extension to the hub in the warmer months as bi-fold doors slide back from the living space. Dine al fresco at the smart wood dining table and chairs where lunch and dinner become family affairs once again. Looking for hot tub luxury? Ease away that busy home timetable in the warmth and jets of your very own tub set in a plum location on the veranda. The master bedroom offers a sit out balcony and faces West to capture the perfect sunset colours. Hayle is fast becoming one of Cornwall's best kept secrets and perfectly located as the gateway to the West. Cool cafes open their doors, the Hayle Estuary teems with seabirds and colour and the golden sand beaches stretch on for miles. The nearest beach is Sandy Acres at Hayle accessed along the bumpy beach track on foot in approx 5-10 minutes or pack up the car and drive a short distance to Gwithian or Godrevy Beaches, each offering a superb sand, surf and cafe culture. The cosmopolitan town of St Ives is a short drive away and well worth a visit for it's unique picture postcard setting and collection of eateries and shops or explore the quieter coves of Mousehole, Porthcurno and Sennen during your time in the West of Cornwall.

How can I make a reservation?


  1. Select the property you wish to book
  2. Choose Availability/Prices
  3. Choose the date you wish to book on the calendar
  4. Register/complete/submit the online reservation and pay the monies due

Advance bookings:

  1. Pay 1/3rd deposit to secure your holiday (33.3%) now and pay the balance 4 weeks before your holiday

Last minute bookings:

  1. Payment in full required for all holidays booked within 28 days of arrival

You can pay securely online or over the phone via Sagepay.

Cautionary Deposit:

  1. A cautionary deposit of £250.00 is required prior to your check in. The day before your arrival we will pre authorise your balance payment card for this amount. Should you wish to use an alternative card then please ensure you have this card readily available when making your balance payment. (Please note you can use a credit card for this without incurring any charges).

When you submit an online reservation, you will receive an automated reservation confirmation. Please contact the reservations team with any questions you may have.

How can I pay

We accept debit cards (no charge), credit cards (2.5% surcharge) and international bank transfers.
We do not accept cheque payments.
