The Loft is a beautifully spacious detached holiday cottage in a central St Ives location.  The Loft has recently benefited from a carefully planned renovation throughout which today presents the perfect seaside retreat from which to enjoy your holiday in Cornwall.

The Property

Capturing the period of the cottage, think exposed granite feature walls combined with white painted tongue and groove panelling offering a fresh white backdrop punctuated with turquoise blues and nautical artwork.  The cosy lounge is located downstairs and features a corner group suite, great for those evenings in front of a good film or listening to music during an overdue catch up with friends.  Also on the ground floor is a twin room with exposed granite feature wall combined with white painted tongue and groove panelling.  Stairs lead upstairs to the first floor where the further two bedrooms are spaced out ensuring privacy from the comings and goings of holiday life.  Be it family brunches or indulgent suppers the dining room offers a solid wood table with eight chairs, DAB radio with iPod dock and a original sash window that boasts a view of the sea!  Stairs lead from the dining room with sea blue painted wooden floor boards to a wonderful mezzanine level with vaulted ceiling and toughened glass partitioning (restricted head height).  There are two comfy chairs, beanbags, coffee table, lamp and a collection of games.  The mezzanine is the perfect place for chilling out after a long day on the beach.  There is a Velux window showcasing a view across St Ives Bay.

How can I make a reservation?

  1. Pay 1/3rd deposit to secure your holiday (33.3%) now and pay the balance 4 weeks before your holiday

Last minute bookings:

  1. Payment in full required for all holidays booked within 28 days of arrival

You can pay securely online or over the phone via Sagepay.

Cautionary Deposit:

  1. A cautionary deposit of £250.00 is required prior to your check in. The day before your arrival we will pre authorise your balance payment card for this amount. Should you wish to use an alternative card then please ensure you have this card readily available when making your balance payment. (Please note you can use a credit card for this without incurring any charges).

When you submit an online reservation, you will receive an automated reservation confirmation. Please contact the reservations team with any questions you may have.

How can I pay

We accept debit cards (no charge), credit cards (2.5% surcharge) and international bank transfers.
We do not accept cheque payments.

The Loft proved to be ABSOLUTELY ideal to the party of 6 we were. The 2 teenage boys shared the room downstairs and had the lounge & bathroom more or less to themselves - they were somehow well-contained that way...)) The 2 younger girls were happy to share a room on the 1st floor and spent most of their time enjoying the attic space. The main bathroom upstairs with bath and shower was super convenient for the 2 adults and 2 girls. Kitchenware is plenty and allows to cook for large parties. The property is bright and very central and offers some views towards the Church. One could wish to see the sea. As the street is hardly suitable to motor vehicles it is super quiet. Well, a top-notch property in St Ives. It was our fourth time in this lovely beach town and should we come back, The Loft it will be! Thank you.

  • There is no parking available with this property however, you are able to purchase a "Rover" parking permit (requires at least 10 days notice) which will entitle you to stay in any of the council run long stay car parks throughout Cornwall.  Weekly tickets are also available to purchase from the car park itself, if the 10 day notice period has passed.  Please note that purchasing your ticket in this way will only entitle you to use the car park it was purchased from.  Please also be aware that neither of these tickets will guarantee you a space.  Ask a member of the team for further details.  Your nearest car park is Park Avenue, just a few minutes walk away
