The Property

Arrive to the private location and the charm of the stone barn conversion, a sensitive transformation that blends beautifully with the setting. Once inside, a warm welcome awaits from the hub of the The Log Shed, the open plan living, dining and kitchen space. Chunky wooden beams and granite pillars evoke the once working out-house of yesteryear yet the stylish contemporary kitchen adds a luxury twist. The living space offers ample space with lofty ceilings and comfortable seating, choose to cosy up in the cooler months or dig into a favourite book and switch off. A country style dining table is the perfect table-for-two, swap your busy dinner timetable and enjoy some of Cornwall's finest food over an extended supper. The kitchen is fully equipped and packed with all you need to get creative. 2 small steps lead to the cool contemporary bathroom with indulgent stand alone bath and walk in rain shower, what could be better after a day on the coast. Lead through to the beautiful bedroom with king sized bed dressed in the finest linens and furniture with a stylish colour palette of muted creams, browns and striking black.

From the bedroom, double patio doors lead onto the courtyard garden with raised seating area offering an all weather bistro table and chairs. Draw back the curtains and watch the Cornish sunrise from your pillow and throw back the double doors for an al fresco breakfast in bed ambiance. As the day closes, sit back and relax on the perfectly placed bench to the rear of The Log Shed and enjoy the picture perfect sunsets. There is parking for up to 2 cars. From the North Coast location head out and about to the near by coastal towns including Padstow with its tempting choice of restaurants and characterful fishing harbour. Take to the coastal paths for some of Cornwall's finest seascapes or pack up a picnic for a good old fashioned day on the beach. Cornwall has a number of winning attractions from the innovative biomes at The Eden Project to the beautiful botanical gardens of The National Trust.

How to book and pay

How can I make a reservation?

Online:

  1. Select the property you wish to book
  2. Choose Availability/Prices
  3. Choose the date you wish to book on the calendar
  4. Register/complete/submit the online reservation and pay the monies due

WHAT DO I PAY AND WHEN?

Advance bookings:

  1. Pay 1/3rd deposit to secure your holiday (33.3%) now and pay the balance 4 weeks before your holiday

Last minute bookings:

  1. Payment in full required for all holidays booked within 28 days of arrival

You can pay securely online or over the phone via Sagepay.

Cautionary Deposit:

  1. A cautionary deposit of £250.00 is required prior to your check in. The day before your arrival we will pre authorise your balance payment card for this amount. Should you wish to use an alternative card then please ensure you have this card readily available when making your balance payment. (Please note you can use a credit card for this without incurring any charges).

When you submit an online reservation, you will receive an automated reservation confirmation. Please contact the reservations team with any questions you may have.

How can I pay

We accept debit cards (no charge), credit cards (2.5% surcharge) and international bank transfers.
We do not accept cheque payments.

Online Payments

You can pay for the balance of your holiday and holiday extras by logging into your Cornish Gems account.
