Follow the leafy lanes of North Cornwall to the peaceful hamlet of Tredinnick just moments from the beauty of the coastline. The Milk Shed was once a forgotten farm barn that has been wonderfully transformed to offer luxury spacious accommodation for four guests within two stylish bedrooms, a contemporary bathroom and open plan living, dining and kitchen space. An established enclosed garden with stone terrace and grassed lawn welcomes lazy summer days and al fresco dining. The Milk Shed is perfectly located to explore the North Cornish coast from the buzzing harbour town of Padstow, the golden sand beaches including Polzeath, Harlyn and Constantine, the market town of Wadebridge and the breathtaking Camel Estuary linking Rock and Padstow.

The Property

The Milk Shed offers an enclosed garden setting as part of the beautiful Tredinnick Farm Barns which have been thoughtfully positioned and landscaped. Once inside, the high vaulted ceiling offers a welcoming ambiance as you step into the open plan kitchen and dining space. The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with all you could need to enjoy some Cornish inspired self catering whilst the large wooden dining table is as perfect for afternoon tea as a celebratory dinner. Lead into the living area and sink into comfortable sofas after a day beside-the-sea, enjoy a family board game or light the log burner in the cooler months and relax with an old favourite film. The fresh neutral colours of the ground floor are punctuated with vibrant oranges and greens adding to the country cottage chic style. The family bathroom is located on the ground floor offering a contemporary haven for a holiday pamper with deep bath and over the bath shower. Bedroom one is located at the gable end of the ground floor with a king sized bed and ample storage. Climb the hand crafted wooden staircase to the first floor where bedroom two offers twin beds.

We were delighted to be the first occupants of The Milk Shed.  It has been finished to a very high quality and has all the necessary essentials to make it a great place for self catering. Congratulations to the owners, they really have gone the extra mile to make this a special place to stay.

From the ground floor rooms, open up the patio doors to the attractive terraced garden which wraps around the barn. Flower beds brim with colour and fragrance in the warmer months and the grassed lawn is a safe haven for children to play. Dine al fresco as the sun sets at the smart all weather dining table and chairs. Follow the country lanes for an evening stroll through the hamlet or head to the coast for seaside adventures. Trevibban Mill and Winery is well worth a visit located just a very short drive away, sit out amongst the vineyards with a glass of local wine or book in for dinner at Appleton's. If walking is on the agenda then you are well placed to step out along the South West Coast path, park up at any of the headlands or beaches and take in the picture perfect seascapes. Beach days are part of any healthy Cornish timetable, head South of the Camel Estuary to the beaches of Trevone, Harlyn, Treyarnon, Constantine, Mawgan Porth and Watergate or to the North at Daymer Bay, Polzeath and up towards Trebarwith Strand. Padstow is a wonderful coastal town to explore and is now firmly on the foodie map with some of Cornwall's top restaurants including Paul Ainsworth's No.6 and Rick Stein's Seafood.

How can I make a reservation?

Online:

  1. Select the property you wish to book
  2. Choose Availability/Prices
  3. Choose the date you wish to book on the calendar
  4. Register/complete/submit the online reservation and pay the monies due

WHAT DO I PAY AND WHEN?

Advance bookings:

  1. Pay 1/3rd deposit to secure your holiday (33.3%) now and pay the balance 4 weeks before your holiday

Last minute bookings:

  1. Payment in full required for all holidays booked within 28 days of arrival

You can pay securely online or over the phone via Sagepay.

Cautionary Deposit:

  1. A cautionary deposit of £250.00 is required prior to your check in. The day before your arrival we will pre authorise your balance payment card for this amount. Should you wish to use an alternative card then please ensure you have this card readily available when making your balance payment. (Please note you can use a credit card for this without incurring any charges).

When you submit an online reservation, you will receive an automated reservation confirmation. Please contact the reservations team with any questions you may have.

How can I pay

We accept debit cards (no charge), credit cards (2.5% surcharge) and international bank transfers.
We do not accept cheque payments.
