An ancient market town flanking Mounts Bay, Marazion is home to a safe, sandy beach stretching out to the sea-wrapped St Michael’s Mount. The bay is often littered with the dancing sails of kitesurfers, windsurfers and sailors that flock here, and it’s also a popular place with swimmers – the highlight of their year being the swimming race around the Mount. The town itself twists along narrow lanes behind the shoreline – and for a small place it’s well endowed with cafés, pubs and restaurants that rank amongst some of the region’s best. Browse the art galleries, take a low-tide walk to St Michael’s Mount, or picnic on the Folly Field and keep your eyes peeled for seals, dolphins and sea birds.
A charming coastal haven in the heart of Marazion, just a hop, skip and jump from the iconic St Michael's Mount and sandy beaches.
