This is the best Cornish Gem we've stayed in. Stunning location, very comfortable and beautifully presented. Definitely recommend the walks to Lusty Glaze, Tolcarne Beach, Polly Joke and Holywell Bay. We will be returning!

An exquisite apartment with tasteful decor and stunning views of the river and Crantock Beach. We have had a lovely week's holiday. The weather was terrific. Coco, our dog, has also had a wonderful time with walks and playing on the beaches. We liked it so much that we have booked again for next year.

This property is an apartment in a Victorian house. It is beautifully appointed and has everything you could wish for for an enjoyable holiday including TVs, Wifi and reading material. Two spacious bedrooms and two superb bathroom, one with a bath with shower, and the other with a large walk in shower. Both are ensuite, as you would expect. The outstanding feature is the view from the large, well furnished, balcony. The photograph on the website probably does not do it justice. As well as seeing across the river, which is tidal and so has a changing outlook there are excellent views up the river, and down to Crantock Beach, which can be walked to at low tide. Tide tables are provided so you don't get caught. There are also lovely shared gardens, and access to the river down quite a few steps. The only minor comment is that parking is perhaps a bit tight. Not so much the space, but the turn in and out. You do get used to it though. We have a Discovery Sport, and that was fine. Might be a bit tight in a Range Rover or something of that size. On the other hand, it is quite near the front door which makes loading and unloading easy. This is the second time we have stayed with Cornish Gems, and their service is excellent. We have booked this property again for next year.

What a wonderful place Waterside is and the River Gannel is a stunning unexpected landscape. We have had such a relaxing time certainly hope to return.

This has been our first trip to Cornwall and it has been amazing. Waterside is an absolute jewel in Newquay. We have loved playing in the River Gannel and jumping off the rocks at the end of Pentire. The view from the balcony and bedroom is stunning. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful house.

Waterside is an outstanding property that certainly has the wow factor and is set in a beautiful location. It offers a relaxed private location with views one can truly appreciate. Perfectly located on the quieter side of Newquay but within easy walking distance of all local amenities, and just a five minute walk from both Fistral and Crantock beach. Waterside is like a little piece of heaven, a place where you can relax and just enjoy the views, the only down side was having to leave.
