We had an absolutely amazing time at what I consider a wonderful property. It is very relaxing, with lots of space, and a great indoor/outdoor connection. The sauna was a unique feature and a big hit. Definitely fits in the Cornish Gems portfolio.

Spend your days tracing the footsteps of Doc Martin on a local tour, or time your visit with the Port Isaac Sea Shanty Festival for a taste of true Cornish maritime spirit.
The village of Rock, idyllically set on the edge of the Camel Estuary, with its stunning beach, upscale amenities - including Paul Ainsworth's Mariners pub - and relaxed Cornish charm, is only a 15-minute drive from your holiday doorstep.
For watersports, head to Polzeath. From the little nippers in their surf life saving sessions, to the seasoned pros, this is a favourite surf spot for North Cornish locals. When the sun starts to dip, cruise over to The Point for a pizza, a pint and a front-row seat at one of North Cornwall’s most impressive sunset spots.
For a touch of Cornish cosmopolitan life, why not discover the market town charm of nearby Wadebridge? Gorgeous independent homeware and fashion boutiques, treasure trove antique shops, and an old-school cinema await. From Wadebridge you can hire bikes and cycle the Camel Trail to Padstow, or settle there for the evening and indulge in some incredible food at The Tiny Thai. Just a short drive from your holiday home is the St Kew Inn, a traditional village gastropub that comes highly recommended by Skylark's owners.
