From your door, the very best of North Cornwall is within easy reach. Wander or drive to nearby Perranporth for its vast stretch of golden sand and rolling surf, perfect for beach days, coastal walks and sunset views. Head to St Agnes for characterful streets, independent shops, cosy pubs and access to Trevaunance Cove, a favourite for swimming and surfing.


The South West Coast Path is close by, offering breathtaking clifftop walks, hidden coves and far-reaching sea views, while the surrounding countryside is dotted with quiet lanes, wildlife and scenic routes to explore. Whether you’re seeking adventure or simply a place to switch off, this location offers the perfect balance.

On the lower ground floor, the open-plan living and dining area invites guests to sink into relaxation, good conversation and easy holiday living. Cosy, characterful and wonderfully inviting, this space is perfect for slow mornings, relaxed suppers and quiet evenings after days spent exploring the coast.


Flow through to the kitchen on the ground floor, fully equipped for getting creative with local produce, from hearty breakfasts to simple suppers and picnic prep for beach days. A calming bedroom with a roll-top bath completes the ground floor layout, offering a restful and indulgent space to unwind.


Ascend the staircase to the primary bedroom, a light-filled retreat designed for complete relaxation. Deep windowsills, coastal artwork and gorgeous fabrics create a peaceful nest, perfect for lazy mornings, early nights and switching off from the everyday.


A smart office space provides a quiet nook for remote working, reading or planning the day ahead, before heading out to the local pub, walking the coast path or exploring the area’s stunning natural scenery.


On Your Doorstep

From your doorstep, there is a wonderful sense of beauty, heritage and community spirit to enjoy. Just a few hundred metres down the country lane sits The Miners Arms, a favourite of the owners, locals and visitors alike, known for its warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere and hearty, well-loved menu.


Perfectly positioned between Perranporth and St Agnes, the hamlet of Mithian offers the best of both worlds: peaceful countryside living with easy access to two of North Cornwall’s most loved coastal spots. Perranporth is known for its vast golden beach, Atlantic surf and laid-back beach culture, while St Agnes brings independent shops, cosy pubs, cafés and a strong creative community feel.


Surfers are drawn to the rolling waves at nearby Chapel Porth, Perranporth and Trevaunance Cove, while walkers can step onto the South West Coast Path and explore some of Cornwall’s most treasured and protected landscapes. This stretch of coast is steeped in mining heritage, with dramatic reminders of the past scattered along the cliffs. The iconic chimney stacks of Wheal Coates are a must-visit, offering breathtaking views and one of the most photographed scenes in Cornwall.

  • Trewartha Cottage is set over three floors: the lower ground floor, ground floor and first floor.
  • There are three steps up from the lower ground floor to the first floor.
  • There are 11 steps up from the ground floor to the first floor.
  • From the parking area there is a step up into the porch, then second step up to the hallway.

Choose from two comfortable bedrooms, located on the ground and first floors:

  • Bedroom 1 (master): first floor, super king zip and link bed (can be set as twins if required), bedside tables, dressing table, hanging space for clothes, 33" LG TV, Sonos speaker.
  • Bedroom 2: ground floor, double bed, bedside tables, hanging space for clothes, 40” Panasonic TV, Sonos speaker, ensuite, views of the champagne bar and hot tub.

  • Bedroom two ensuite: ground floor, roll top bath with hand held shower attachment, wash hand basin, WC. There is no wall between the ensuite area and the bedroom, however there is a frosted glass screen separating the WC from the room.
  • Family bathroom: first floor, walk-in waterfall shower, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, WC and Sonos speaker.

This includes: Apple juice, Kernow chocolate, Furniss biscuits, locally made brownie, Burts sharing crisps, scones, cream, jam, bread, butter, milk, fresh flowers, and dog treats if applicable. Tea, coffee, sugar and four Nespresso coffee capsules are also provided.
