There are facilities for surf equipment including a wetsuit and board store, for those eager surfers. The playground of St Ives and its many beaches is just a short walk away with Porthminster beach being the closest - from your door to the shore in just five minutes. For the surfing lovers in the group, head through town to Porthmeor beach where locals and visitors alike take to the waves.

For those more relaxing aspects the Harbour Hotel is situated just opposite with spa and swimming pool or Carbis Bay hotel a short drive for that relaxing indulgent treat. During the summer months Yoga is available on Porthminster Beach. Have you ever played tennis with a sea view? St Ives Tennis Club is a short walk away with incredible views! The most beautiful scienic 9 hole golf course is situated at Tregenna Castle or 18 holes at West Cornwall Golf Club in Lelant. Further afield, day trips are enjoyed exploring the wild west of Cornwall or heading to the tranquil waters and rolling green headlands of south Cornwall.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Tate St Ives sits, showcasing work by artists including Barbara Hepworth and Patrick Moss whose works have brought international attention to St Ives and West Cornwall. Alongside displays from the Tate collection, the gallery presents modern and contemporary art from around the world through a dynamic exhibitions programme.
