Perfect for nature lovers and dog owners, here families, friends or couples can fully immerse in St Agnes and Perranporth’s natural beauty, before some well-deserved rest and relaxation. The stone cottage offers two light-filled bedrooms, two bathrooms, inviting social areas and - possibly the best bit - a fantastic outdoor area complete with a champagne bar and tempting hot tub. Turn on the fairy lights, sink into the bubbles and let your worries melt away…

Step Inside

Quality and character exude from every nook, and leafy views peek through pretty windows... Drive up the country track and into the spacious driveway of Trewartha Cottage. On the lower ground floor, the open plan living and dining area invites guests to sink into relaxation and good conversation. Flow though to the kitchen on the ground floor, which is fully equipped for getting creative with local produce. A calming bedroom with roll top bath completes the ground floor layout. Ascend the staircase to the master bedroom, which is filled with light. Deep windowsills, coastal artwork and gorgeous fabrics create a peaceful nest in which to unwind completely. The smart office space offers a quiet nook for working remotely, before heading off to the local pub or exploring the area's stunning natural scenery. 

On Your Doorstep

From your doorstep, there is beauty, heritage and community spirit to enjoy. A convenient few hundred metres down the country lane, sits The Miners Arms; a favourite of the owners, locals and visitors alike for its welcoming atmosphere and great food. Located between Perranporth and St Agnes, Mithian is perfectly placed for exploring the delights of the north coast. Surfers flock to the waves at Chapel Porth, and walkers stomp along some of Cornwall's most precious and protected coast paths, dotted with the remnants of a copper and tin mining past (the iconic chimney stack of Wheal Coates is well worth a visit - don't forget your camera!) Perranporth, Holywell, and Polly Joke are just a handful of the breathtaking beaches close by, where furry friends can play year-round. On your doorstep, the Callestick Ice Cream Farm Cafe and Healeys Cider Farm offer a tantalizing array of locally sourced delights, and host exciting events throughout the year. When it comes to dining out, Nancarrow Farm offer rustic feast nights with seasonal produce, or if you crave a vibrant ambiance, head over to The Taphouse in St Agnes, where the energy is infectious.

  • Trewartha Cottage is set over three floors: the lower ground floor, ground floor and first floor.
  • There are three steps up from the lower ground floor to the first floor.
  • There are 11 steps up from the ground floor to the first floor.
  • From the parking area there is a step up into the porch, then second step up to the hallway.
Bedroom

Choose from two comfortable bedrooms, located on the ground and first floors:

  • Bedroom 1 (master): first floor, super king zip and link bed (can be set as twins if required), bedside tables, dressing table, hanging space for clothes, 33" LG TV, Sonos speaker.
  • Bedroom 2: ground floor, double bed, bedside tables, hanging space for clothes, 40” Panasonic TV, Sonos speaker, ensuite, views of the champagne bar and hot tub. 
Bathroom
  • Bedroom two ensuite: ground floor, roll top bath with hand held shower attachment, wash hand basin, WC. There is no wall between the ensuite area and the bedroom, however there is a frosted glass screen separating the WC from the room. 
  • Family bathroom: first floor, walk-in waterfall shower, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, WC and Sonos speaker.

  • The property changeovers and maintenance are managed by the property owner.
  • The property owners provide a lovely Welcome Gift for guests. This includes: Apple juice, Kernow chocolate, Furniss biscuits, locally made brownie, Burts sharing crisps, scones, cream, jam, bread, butter, milk, fresh flowers, and dog treats if applicable. Tea, coffee, sugar and four Nespresso coffee capsules are also provided.
