If your booking is made outside of office hours at the weekend and over Bank Holidays we may take up to 48 hours to return your call. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to call us to confirm your booking at your preferred time within 48 hours of making your online reservation. We accept all major credit and debit cards except AMEX. There is no charge for debit card transactions, a surcharge of 2.5% is added to all credit card transactions. Please be assured we DO NOT charge a booking fee for our holidays. Our office opening hours are: Mon-Fri 9.30am-5.30pm; Sat 10.00am-5.00pm. We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.

It comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms (2 double rooms, 2 twin rooms) whilst offering 3 bathrooms plus a separate ground floor WC. Woodpecker Cottage is perfect for couples and families alike. This delightful property has one allocated parking space, plus offers the use of its garage for additional parking and/or storage.

There is a dining table with 6 chairs and 2 separate dining chairs, a drinks globe and DAB radio. There is a convenient ground floor WC with a toilet and wash hand basin.

Stairs lead from the entrance hall up to the first floor bedroom accommodation which comprises 2 twin rooms, 1 with en-suite shower room and a versatile sleeping arrangement of zip n lock beds which can be zipped together to create a 6ft super king size bed or separated into 2 3ft single beds upon request (Please advise a member of the team how you require this arrangement when making your booking), 1 double room with 4"6 bed, plus a main bathroom with large shower cubicle and power shower, wash hand basin, toilet, heated towel rail and shaver socket.

Another staircase takes you to the top floor master bedroom suite with 5ft king size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over, wash hand basin, toilet, heated towel rail and shaver socket.

Woodpecker Cottage is situated adjacent to the well renowned Hayle Estuary, an RSPB nature reserve and offers great accessibility to some of the finest golden beaches and tourist attractions West Cornwall has to offer. Woodpecker Cottage is situated next door to another popular Cornish Gem called Pintail Cottage.

St. Ives is a short drive away, or why not take advantage of the Saltings Reach branch line train. Nestled on the waters edge, the small platform is less than 5 minutes walk from the property. You arrive at the stunning Porthminster Beach, St. Ives within 8 minutes and get to sample some breathtaking coastline along the way. A 'Day Ranger' ticket costs less than £10 for up to 4 people.
