Backed by soft sand dunes and framed by attractive cliffs, Crantock Beach opens out onto wide seascapes and the beautiful River Gannel. The estuary offers calmer waters away from the surf, perfect for paddleboarding, gentle paddling and family beach days.

At high tide, a small boat shuttles beachgoers across to the Newquay side, where the much-loved Fern Pit Café is a local favourite for crab sandwiches, cream teas and views over the Gannel – a real hidden gem of the area.
