To the rear of the house, a further outdoor living space has been thoughtfully designed for relaxed entertaining, with alfresco dining and a hot tub promising slow evenings under open skies.
As the temperature dips, settle into the plush corner sofa beside the log burner and watch the changing light over the coast, or retreat to the snug for a cosy family film night.
Four restful double bedrooms provide inviting places to unwind, including a ground floor bedroom with en suite and three further bedrooms upstairs, among them the beautiful principal suite with its en suite bathroom and glorious coastal views beyond a Juliet balcony.

Enter via the rear of the property and step into a light-filled interior of crisp white walls, high ceilings and refined finishes, creating an immediate feeling of calm and understated elegance.
To the left of the entrance hall, the generous kitchen is a dream for cooks and keen entertainers alike, superbly equipped with a family-sized fridge freezer, a bank of four ovens and a five-ring induction hob.
It is the perfect place to prepare everything from relaxed holiday breakfasts to memorable suppers using the finest local produce, perhaps picked up from Etherington’s award-winning farm shop just a short drive away.
From the central island, views run through the living and dining space, out across the garden and towards the rolling countryside beyond, keeping the beauty of the setting always in sight.
At the heart of the house, the luxurious corner sofa invites you to sink in and unwind, perfectly positioned to enjoy the spectacular outlook through the large tri-fold doors, whatever the weather, while the woodburner brings warmth and atmosphere on cooler evenings.
The chic dining area, with its generous table for eight, also connects beautifully to the outdoors and enjoys lovely views towards the headland, making every meal feel just that little bit more special.
To the right of the entrance hall, the plush snug offers a quieter place to retreat, with bi-fold doors opening onto the decking and garden, while nearby the utility room and downstairs wet room are ideal for sandy, salty returns from the beach.
Also on the ground floor is a self-contained double bedroom with en suite, kitchenette and its own exterior entrance, offering a wonderful degree of privacy and flexibility for grandparents, carers or guests seeking a little extra independence during your stay.
Ascend the beautifully crafted staircase to the first floor, where three stylish double bedrooms await, along with the family bathroom and its seductive free-standing bath.
The grand principal bedroom has been designed to make the most of the far-reaching views, inviting slow mornings with coffee by the Juliet balcony as you look out across the dramatic landscape from St Agnes Beacon all the way to St Ives on a clear day.
Throw open the large folding doors and extend your living space onto the west-facing decked terrace at the front of the house, where afternoons are made for basking in the sunshine and evenings for sharing a bottle of wine as the sun sinks on the horizon.
Children will love the spacious garden and its sunken trampoline, while to the rear of the property another furnished outdoor living space connects seamlessly to the kitchen through large folding doors.

Highviews’ mid-county, North Coast location makes it the perfect base from which to explore Cornwall. With a variety of beaches, hiking and cycling paths, family attractions and bustling Cornish towns all within a 30-minute drive away, there’s little chance of running out of things to do, whatever the weather.
Just a 10-minute walk from your holiday doorstep is Porthtowan beach; popular with local families and keen surfers, but off-the-beaten-track just enough to avoid the summer hoards. The sheer cliffs perfectly frame the soft sands and sea view, making Porthtowan one of Cornwall’s best spots to watch the sun disappear over the Atlantic horizon on a summer’s evening. Huddle together on the beach and tuck into fish and chips from the locally beloved Seasmiths or enjoy a drink at the lively Blue Bar as you let the Cornish sunset soothe your soul.
A little further up the coast is the ruggedly beautiful and secluded Chapel Porth beach, worth visiting alone for the beach cafe’ss decadent ice creams in the daytime or in the evening for the lauded Night Hatch summertime pop-up kitchen.
The small town of St Agnes, with its selection of delicious eateries, is less than a 10-minute drive away; Highviews’ owner highly recommends the exciting institute cafe for hearty breakfasts and mouthwatering deli-style sandwiches, as well as Verdant’s excellent family-friendly Schooners beachfront bar and pizza restaurant. Stop by Trunk Deli - recommended by our own team - for delectable supplies to feast on back at your holiday home.
Avid hikers and cyclists will delight in easy access to a variety of paths and routes; head south along the South West Coast Path from Porthtowan to Portreath, on to Godrevy and Hayle, taking in one of the most dramatic and breathtaking sections of the entire trail - keep an eye out along the way for seals sunning themselves at Mutton Cove. Travel inland to the Great Flat Lode, a 7-mile circular walk traversing an area rich in Cornwall’s tin mining heritage; make a pitstop at the Croust Hut for delicious mid-walk refreshment - another recommendation from our team - and be sure to ascend the iconic Carn Brea for panoramic views all the way to St Ives. Cornwall is a cyclist's dream with ample on- and off-road route options, including the 11-mile Coast-to-Coast Trail from Porthreath to Devoran, passing just outside Porthtowan.
Highview’s central location puts you in easy reach of a number of Cornwall’s best family attractions. Healeys Cyder Farm is a popular destination for families with its farm animals, vintage tractor rides, guided tours and tastings.
Get up close to an array of birds and animals at Paradise Park wildlife sanctuary, or tire the kids out at Lappa Valley with its wealth of family-friendly activities. If you’re looking for more adrenalin-oriented action that caters for all ages and abilities, The Track offers miles of bike tracks and jumps, and Mount Hawk Skate Park boasts impressive indoor courses, ramps and bowls. Tehidy Country Park, West Cornwall’s largest woodland area, is popular with families and dog walkers and home to the 18-hole Tehidy Park Golf Club and the famous Rogue Otherworld outdoor theatre.
The towns of Truro, Falmouth, Newquay and St Ives - each offering their own flavour of Cornwall - are all within a 30-minute drive of Highviews. With their unique combinations of shops, eateries and museums, they make for quality alternative activities when the weather is misbehaving. Truro’s Cornwall Museum & Art Gallery houses collections steeped in Cornish history while the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth showcases the county’s rich maritime history, both providing hands-on interactive activities for children.
