Captain's Rest is a single level apartment that occupies the ground floor of a traditional Falmouth townhouse (please refer to access statement). This once forgotten gem has been completely renovated to create a beautiful abode for couples who enjoy the finer things in life! Arrive into the open plan living and dining space set to the backdrop of the beautiful original bay window and jackpot views of the waterways of Carrick Roads. Once inside, this uber stylish room ensures relaxation and indulgent comfort with ample seating to sit and unwind. Cosy up in the cooler months and watch the wild Cornish weather or sit and gaze out over a sunny breakfast and watch the boats go by. The boutique style bedroom is located just off the living space and offers a tempting king size bed dressed to perfection. The bathroom offers a power shower for the perfect pamper and luxury robes are provided. The kitchen is galley style and includes all you need to get creative, the nearby artisan shops and producers make menu choices and holiday cooking a joy. Captain's Rest has been thoughtfully styled in a soft fusion of dusky pinks, antique creams and marl greys to bring a unique sense of serenity and vintage ambiance with just a nod the maritime heritage of Falmouth.

From your holiday door, steps lead down to a well placed garden bench just perfect for morning coffee or pre-dinner drinks. Stroll along the esplanade into the heart of Falmouth - named one of the best seaside towns in which to live by The Times - in just 5 minutes. Falmouth has so much to offer visitors, an eclectic collection of shops are well worth browsing and artisan cafes and restaurants ensure a true taste of Cornwall. Discovery Quay is a wonderful place to enjoy nautical life with the award winning Maritime Museum and selection of bars and restaurants gathered around a central wharf. From super yachts to day boats, sailors are attracted from around the world to the sheltered waters of Carrick Roads offering some of the best sailing in the UK, Port Pendennis is a smart marina and great place to watch the world sail by. The nearby beaches of Gyllyngvase and Swanpool offer golden sand and superb swimming, Gylly Beach Cafe is our top tip for sundowners with-a-view! The South Coast of Cornwall is wonderful to explore, head further West to The Lizard Peninsula and the picture perfect coves of Cadgwith and Coverack or North to The Roseland Peninsula. For a contrast of scenery take a day trip to the wild high cliffs and mile long beaches of the North Coast. If action and adventure is on the agenda then try your hand at any of the nearby watersports from Sailing to Kayaking, Paddle-boarding to Windsurfing or don your walking boots and take in the magical seascapes along the South West Coastal path.
