Designed and decorated to complement the original stonework and structure, this quirky home boasts organic textures from room to room. With two bedrooms, a family bathroom and plenty of social spaces, this characterful abode sits amongst nature, allowing guests the space to breathe and embrace the calm of Cornwall’s countryside. Step Inside

The interiors of Killifreth Stamps have been chosen to blend modern life with the historic charm and authentic textures of the property. The living space welcomes you in for wholesome evenings by the fire, crack open the board games or switch off the screens for a digital detox, and indulge in quality time together. The kitchen invites quiet coffee mornings, with the timeless arched windows light up the modern kitchen, set sympthetially against the original stone walls. Perch at the breakfast bar and gaze out at the countryside, for those quiet mornings soundtracked with birdsong, family moments of laughter and planning the day's adventures. The dining area downstairs awaits delicious dinners made with local Cornish produce and sparkling conversation, where you can think back on the moments that have made your holiday. Make Killifreth Stamps your home from home and settle into the Primary Bedroom, which opens onto a spacious balcony, overlooking the Cornish countryside views, so you can wake up immersed in nature whilst snuggled into the soft interiors. The original features, like brick walls and oak beams continue to characterise the second bedroom, with soft earthy tones inviting you into a calm sleep, and a snuggly window seat for those literary adventures or gazing into the greenery.

From the kitchen, follow the double doors out onto the balcony, where welcoming sun loungers and an outdoor dining setup await. Bathe amongst beauty of the trees and get back to what matters, from the comfort of your al fresco space, whether you’re cooking up a storm on the balcony barbecue or discovering your zen by practising your yoga. Do wonders for your wellness by soaking in the hot tub, which looks out across the rural views. The flourishing gardens adorned with local plants and wildlife-friendly spaces, letting you feel at one with nature again, is a wonderful space for enhancing your wellbeing by promoting mindfulness, stress reduction and improved mood. From the gates of Killifreth Stamps, various villages neighbour the property, including Chacewater, St Day and Bissoe, where a number of pubs and shops reside. Only a 15 minute drive, or a bus journey away, discover the enchanting city of Truro and its cobblestone streets, which offers the perfect family day out, with its unique eateries, independent shops and family activities. Just down the road, Scorrier House is known to hold a number of events, including The Great Estate Festival. For a change of scenery, the coastline in north Cornwall offers a beautiful day out, accessible in 5 minutes by car, where rugged cliffs and waves outline the coastal paths. Experience the heritage coast of St Agnes, Chapel Porth and Trevaunance Cove, where an exciting array of restaurants and pubs await, or enjoy the surf culture of destinations such as Newquay and Porthtowan. National Trust member? The estate of Trelissick is a 15 minute drive away, greeting you to a Rapunzel-worthy water tower, stunning gardens, woodland walk and small beach primed for seaglass treasure and calm dips into the water. Extend the day from Trelissick by taking the King Harry Ferry over to The Roseland for exploring Portscatho beach and the idyllic village of St Mawes.
