Skylark welcomes you home as soon as you open the front door, where earthy tones, soft lighting and natural textures immediately set a calming tone. This peaceful introduction flows through to the heart of the home - a spacious, open-plan living, dining and kitchen area designed for slow mornings, relaxed evenings and everything in between. Framed by countryside views through generous windows, this light-filled space combines rustic farmhouse charm with warm, contemporary styling.
The kitchen is both sociable and practical, with a central island perfect for casual breakfasts and chatting with the chef. Fully equipped for feasts of local produce, it’s the kind of kitchen that inspires connection - whether you’re preparing a laid-back lunch or a celebratory supper. The adjacent dining space invites long, laughter-filled meals, where the sliding doors can be opened to let the countryside and garden in.
Just next door to the kitchen, the private sauna, seating the whole party, promises spa-like relaxation, completing this home’s sense of retreat.
The reading area, with cosy seating, layered textures and soft, earthy hues reflect the landscape outside. A woodburner adds warmth for the winter days. Tucked away is the main living room, perfect for chilled-out evenings or rainy afternoons.

On Your Doorstep
Less than 10 minutes from the coastal soul of iconic Port Isaac and the sheltered cove of Port Gaverne, Skylark places you at the heart of North Cornwall’s charm. Spend your days tracing the footsteps of Doc Martin on a local tour, or time your visit with the Port Isaac Sea Shanty Festival for a taste of true Cornish maritime spirit.
The village of Rock, idyllically set on the edge of the Camel Estuary, with its stunning beach, upscale amenities - including Paul Ainsworth's Mariners pub - and relaxed Cornish charm, is only a 15-minute drive from your holiday doorstep.
For watersports, head to Polzeath. From the little nippers in their surf life saving sessions, to the seasoned pros, this is a favourite surf spot for North Cornish locals. When the sun starts to dip, cruise over to The Point for a pizza, a pint and a front-row seat at one of North Cornwall’s most impressive sunset spots.
For a touch of Cornish cosmopolitan life, why not discover the market town charm of nearby Wadebridge? Gorgeous independent homeware and fashion boutiques, treasure trove antique shops, and an old-school cinema await. From Wadebridge you can hire bikes and cycle the Camel Trail to Padstow, or settle there for the evening and indulge in some incredible food at The Tiny Thai. Just a short drive from your holiday home is the St Kew Inn, a traditional village gastropub that comes highly recommended by Skylark's owners.
If you'd like to soak up some of Cornwall's enchanting heritage, Tintagel is the place to go. At Skylark you are situated just 15 minutes from the dramatic clifftop castle and Arthurian legend.
