Once a rustic granary, this wonderfully spacious country abode has been creatively converted to offer a peaceful pad from which to immerse yourself in north coast living.  Nestled in open-plan farmland along a quiet country lane, The Granary is idyllic for families and couples alike looking to explore from Padstow to Porthcothnan.

The Property

The Granary invites you to spend a little time out amongst the company of North Cornwall with its coastal inspired energy.  From landscape artists to walking enthusiasts, choose The Granary as your 'home from home'.  Set over two floors this is a reverse level living concept, climb the original stone steps to the barn-style front door. Once inside a wonderfully spacious sitting room offers a warm welcome be it for a full house of six or just for two, with all the comforts of home.  Features include a high vaulted ceiling with exposed oak beams, woodburner, two large chestnut brown leather sofas and soft squishy carpets and fireside rug.  Sunset seekers can admire the far horizon from the sitting room window over rolling farmland.  This room leads into the farmhouse style kitchen with large pine dining table just perfect for casual breakfasts or family suppers.  Retire 'down' the stairs where three well presented bedrooms await, each offering a luxurious space to unwind and recover from the day's exertions.

This was a very well appointed and comfortable property in a prime vacation location. 

In warmer months the verdant lawn is the perfect place to unwind with a good book and soak up the Cornish sun whilst offering a safe, level environment for children to play in.  If you can resist the tempting choice of nearby restaurants and cafes then choose to dine alfresco at The Granary for your own peaceful slice of serenity.  This holiday home is competitively priced and will appeal to couples and families seeking the charm of a quiet rural Cornish hamlet that also offers excellent access to the rural charms of the North Cornish coast.  The beaches at Mawgan Porth, Porthcothan, Constantine Bay, Boobys Bay, Harlyn and Trevone are all within easy reach.  Newquay Airport is conveniently placed close by, just a short 20 minute (approximate) drive away.

How to book and pay

How can I make a reservation?


  1. Select the property you wish to book
  2. Choose Availability/Prices
  3. Choose the date you wish to book on the calendar
  4. Register/complete/submit the online reservation and pay the monies due

Advance bookings:

  1. Pay 1/3rd deposit to secure your holiday (33.3%) now and pay the balance 4 weeks before your holiday

Last minute bookings:

  1. Payment in full required for all holidays booked within 28 days of arrival

You can pay securely online or over the phone via Sagepay.

Cautionary Deposit:

  1. A cautionary deposit of £250.00 is required prior to your check in. The day before your arrival we will pre authorise your balance payment card for this amount. Should you wish to use an alternative card then please ensure you have this card readily available when making your balance payment. (Please note you can use a credit card for this without incurring any charges).

When you submit an online reservation, you will receive an automated reservation confirmation. Please contact the reservations team with any questions you may have.

How can I pay

We accept debit cards (no charge), credit cards (2.5% surcharge) and international bank transfers.
We do not accept cheque payments.

You can pay for the balance of your holiday and holiday extras by logging into your Cornish Gems account.
