#WhereWeGo

We’ve been thrilled to see such a fabulous number of entries to our current competition #WhereWeGo! From locals to those on their holidays in Cornwall, it’s clear that whether you’re born here or drawn here, Cornwall is a special place to many across the world.

Our latest video, above, is of our born-and-bred-St Ives gal, Emma Fashokun, our fabulous Environmental Social Governance Manager. Emma is pioneering our sustainability journey, and is leading on our exciting B-Corp application!

From the submissions to #WhereWeGo, it’s clear how much Cornwall means to so many, and we do all we can to ensure our communities are taken care of. You can read our sustainability statement here for more information.

North Cliffs. Such a beautiful place. In all weathers. When I stop anywhere along this stretch of coast in #Cornwall, its like I am standing at the edge of the world, miles from the next nearest land mass. Behind me is the county, ahead of me is the wilderness of the open Cornish seas. In all its glory, colourful, ever changing, dark or light, tranquil or harsh, wherever I stand on that clifftop, I am home. It is #wherewego to feel the elements, to see the world stretching out before us, always remembering that Cornwall is our little patch of wilderness.

Oh Mousehole! Such a beautiful sight on a sunny day! I just love looking at the crystal clear water!

Warm summer evenings – sun down at one of my favourite places on the north Cornwall coast.

Tintagel Castle and it’s legendary heritage have long been the location of many a mythical tale. There’s something quite magical about this place, whether you believe in wizards and knights or not, but sometimes the only magic you need is that provided by Mother Nature and her conjuring of a beautiful sunset!

A perfect day spent on two different beaches and ended with pizza and a beautiful sunset

Our little corner, best sunsets in the World #WhereWeGo
So many happy memories, rock pooling, trampolining, body surfing, boat sand castles, wooden belly boards and having the best time together

My entry is Carbis Bay, especially evenings on the beach. We first came 12 years ago after my son was in rehabilitation from a deadly brain infection (Enchephalitus) when he was 6yrs of age. He was paralysed fully for 12 wks and no prognosis. His rehabilitation took yrs and I’m convinced the healing from Carbis Bay added to his recovery, sometimes twice a year we came he loved it and at 18 he still does. This picture means to me embracing nature in all its glory and everything good it has to offer 🫶🏼 The earth in all its glory.
