In just a few minutes, walk to the beautiful beaches, galleries, shops and restaurants that St Ives has to offer. Wake up to glorious sunrises over the bay or watch the world go by from the large oriel window offering panoramic sea views of St Ives harbour and across the bay towards Porthminster Beach and up the coast to Godrevy Lighthouse and Hayle Towans. The Property

When it comes to coastal home-from-homes, Waves End oozes style. A beautiful airy open plan kitchen, dining and lounging area on the ground floor offers a thoughtful layout for guests to gather as the comings and goings of holiday life unfold. A large oak dining table is set under the sash window offering stunning sea views beyond, along with the Belgian antique chandelier and large leather corner sofa, this area creates the perfect hub of the house and a natural space to relax. A central hallway leads to the rear of Waves End offering a relaxing sitting room dressed to impress with topaz blue contemporary style sofas and a relaxed ambiance away from the hubbub of the kitchen. A practical utility room can be accessed from the kitchen courtyard or sitting room providing a welcome space for all of your holiday kit from wetsuits to wellingtons and leads to a large shower room with WC. The original Victorian staircase sweeps up to the first floor with two landings leading to the chic collection of bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom has jackpot views of St Ives Bay and has been dressed in relaxing neutral tones and contrasting soft furnishings or choose the comfort of the ensuite king bedded room thoughtfully styled in shades of nautical blue. The twin room is as suitable for adults as for children again offering wonderful sea views, whilst the final bedroom offers a beautiful haven to the rear of the house with zip/lock king bed. Located to the rear of the house, a walled, terraced garden has a great feeling of privacy with maturing cherry tree and includes a large outside dining table with 8 dining chairs located on the lower patio with 3 steps leading up to an area of lawn.  A pathway leads down into the centre of St Ives in approx 3 minute walk, and just 2 minutes to the beach, it really is that close! If you are new to St Ives or it is a family favourite destination, this cosmopolitan coastal town oozes variety whether you are looking for an action packed holiday of walking, surfing and adventure, a restful break pottering amongst the shops and galleries, a foodie weekend to sample a taste of the West be it pasty on the quay or fine beachside dining or perhaps a good old fashioned bucket and spade escape? St Ives has it all. Choose from over 6 beaches all within walking distance, the white sands of Porthminster Beach are only 150m away or head to the Island side of the town and enjoy the surf at Porthmeor. The South West Coast Path is within easy access which leads up towards Carbis Bay and beyond. The West of Cornwall is easy to explore, pack up the car for the day and follow the coast road towards Land's End or head to the South coast for a contrast of scenery and quintessential fishing coves.

How can I make a reservation?

  1. Pay 1/3rd deposit to secure your holiday (33.3%) now and pay the balance 4 weeks before your holiday

Last minute bookings:

  1. Payment in full required for all holidays booked within 28 days of arrival

You can pay securely online or over the phone via Sagepay.

Cautionary Deposit:

  1. A cautionary deposit of £500.00 is required prior to your check in. The day before your arrival we will pre authorise your balance payment card for this amount. Should you wish to use an alternative card then please ensure you have this card readily available when making your balance payment. (Please note you can use a credit card for this without incurring any charges).

When you submit an online reservation, you will receive an automated reservation confirmation. Please contact the reservations team with any questions you may have.

How can I pay

We accept debit cards (no charge), credit cards (2.5% surcharge) and international bank transfers.
We do not accept cheque payments.

  • From the garage, there are 8 steps down with handrail to the garden. The garden is terraced (two levels) with 3 steps (without a handrail) dividing the levels. From the lower garden level, there is an outdoor stairway gated at the top and the bottom, with handrail which has 16 steps down to the kitchen courtyard and back door. Please note that the steps are narrow at the top. There are 2 steps from the back door into the property. If any member of the party felt the amount of steps is not easy to do then it only takes a minute to walk around the road from the garage to the front door.
  • The garage door measures 2.25m/7'4" and 1.88m/6'2" high. Internally, the garage is 6m/20ft long and widens to approx 2.7m/9ft.
  • One internal set of split stairs with 17 steps in total
