Step Inside

Enter via private gates leading to the exclusive setting of Bankside, quite literally on the banks of the river. Once inside the high quality and attention to detail shines through, from the state of the art kitchen to the inspiring artwork, this holiday home is set to impress. Bankside is set over three levels, arrive at the ground floor and lead into the generous open plan social area where the smart dining table, enviable ink blue kitchen and relaxed sitting space combine to present the perfect holiday layout all framed against the full height glass doors overlooking the greens and blues of the fields, sand and sea. Newquay and the local area is firmly on the food map and fresh fish and local ingredients are in abundance for your home from home cooking, and what a kitchen to get creative in! Slide back the doors to the balcony and enjoy the ultimate inside/outside ambiance. Suppers and snacks are all enjoyed around the large dining table with Millard and Flo designed mood-lighting at the touch of a button. A cloakroom completes the ground floor layout. Descend to the lower first floor where the master bedroom and bedroom two each offer a unique interior design, the finest beds and furnishings and contemporary ensuite bathrooms. Descend again to the lower second floor where bedroom three is no less considered and offers private access to the terrace. A family shower room is also located on this floor and additional seating area with a cosy snug and large Smart TV, perfect for children (or adults!) to escape to. There is also an additional kitchen space with fridge and sink.

From your Holiday Door

Bankside benefits from a south facing position so maximum time can be enjoyed al fresco on the balconies from the living space on the ground floor and the master bedroom. The terrace and lawn on the lower second floor is a safe and enclosed space for children and dogs to safely play and for guests to sit out and soak up the sun. A private gate leads to a zig-zag of paths that lead down through the landscape communal grounds of Woodlands to the private surf stores and direct access to the river and beaches (tidal). The Pentire Headland has so much to offer. Walk to Fistral Beach or Crantock Beach each offering superb surf and wide stretches of golden sand. There are a number of tempting places to eat and drink from the family friendly Lewinnick Lodge to the culinary temptations of The Fish House. The north coast of Cornwall is waiting to be explored as you head up the coast towards Padstow or head to the wild West and the iconic town of St Ives.
