From beaches to woodlands, there’s a huge array of hikes that are paw-fect strolls for you and your dogs, across all corners of dog friendly Cornwall. Whether your cuddly family member is a sea-pup or prefers dry land, their tails will be waggling throughout the entire adventure. Perranporth Beach | Dog Friendly Dunes in Cornwall
Nestled along the wonderful north coast, Perranporth Beach loves dogs just as much as we all do. With no bans, this is the ultimate Cornwall’s dog friendly hotspot throughout the whole year, your pups can roam freely, through the blonde sands, wild dunes or salty sea. Frizbee recommends this idyllic beach, because there’s heaps of free space and new smells to discover. Your pups can even help you out on a surfing lesson!
Wren Cottage, St Agnes

This unique country home is set in the rural oasis of the north coast, near St Agnes. Welcoming two dogs, and four of their most loyal humans, the cottage offers a perfect, quiet escape, for nature lovers, with an picturesque garden.
Lanhydrock Estate | Dog Friendly National Trust Estate in Cornwall
This countryside haven is the ideal place for your dogs to explore. To the south of Bodmin, Lanhydrock House is a National Trust property, with fabulous gardens and surrounding walks. There’s even a cafe, where you and your pups can grab a snack after your adventure. Huckleberry loves walking around Lanhydrock, as there’s places to paddle in the river or zoom around the lushious fields. He also enjoys a packet of mini-cheddars at the cafe afterwards.
Little Cutmadoc Farm, Lanhydrock

Set in the east of Cornwall, moments from the beautiful landscapes of Polperro and Looe, Lansallos provides views of rolling hills, tucked into the glorious coastline. Along the beachy walk, your pups can admire the glorious sights and smells, in this hidden spot. Lansallos is one of Bishop’s favourite places to go walkies, as he has a knack for finding crabs in the rockpools, after a picnic on the beach.

Portreath Beach | A Dog Friendly Cornwall Beach for Autumn and Winter
Another beautiful beach for pups is Portreath Beach. Although there are seasonal restrictions, between 10am-6pm during the summer months, this beach is a prime destination for an evening stroll, along with a splash in the sea. Based along the north coast, Portreath is a unique spot for catching the waves, which your salty sea dogs will be sure to enjoy. Lily certainly approves of Portreath Beach and recommends getting paws-deep in the gleaming sands.

Whether you fancy an autumnal stroll, with the crunchy, orange leaves around your paws, or a warm hike, with sun rays beaming through the trees, Idless Woods brings an incredible range of wildlife. Peggy particularly enjoys her walks through the trees, as she loves hunting for sticks to play with.
Park Head
Near Porthcothan, this magical walk explores the wonderland of the north coast. With views over Bedruthan Steps and fantastic sea stacks, your dogs’ tails will be waggling, amongst the oasis of wild flowers and greenery. Another of Cornish Gems’ dogs, Hallie, can’t resist this wonderful walk, with the panoramic blue backdrop.
Porthilly, Constantine Bay
