The Property

Follow the characterful streets of St Ives and arrive to the beachside setting. Hidden neatly behind large wooden gates, Island Wastrel is a spacious beach house offering privacy away from the bustle of the town. Once inside the house is flooded with natural light and ensures the perfect holiday ambiance, kick off your shoes and sink into coastal life. The contemporary kitchen and dining space is the central hub to the house as family and friends dip in and out and the group gathers for re-fueling from hearty breakfasts to fine dining, coffee to cocktails. The ground floor offers two bedrooms (bedrooms two and three) each offering a coastal colour palatte of sea greens, soft blues and sandy browns. A family wetroom completes the ground floor with striking white tiling and indulgent rain shower. A central staircase leads to the first floor. The master bedroom is set to impress with a beguiling mix of rich textured fabrics in contrasting greens and complementary artwork, the stylish ensuite bathroom welcomes that post coast pamper. The living space is simply beautiful ensuring ample space for all to stretch out and gaze upon the oh so blue view of St Ives Bay. Island Wastrel has been flawlessly created and presented with an effortlessly natural style and scaled back Scandinavian furnishings. A small sit out balcony offers a birds eye view of the ebb and flow of coastal life from early morning beachcombers to evening beach strollers.

How can I make a reservation?


  1. Select the property you wish to book
  2. Choose Availability/Prices
  3. Choose the date you wish to book on the calendar
  4. Register/complete/submit the online reservation and pay the monies due

Advance bookings:

  1. Pay 1/3rd deposit to secure your holiday (33.3%) now and pay the balance 4 weeks before your holiday

Last minute bookings:

  1. Payment in full required for all holidays booked within 28 days of arrival

You can pay securely online or over the phone via Sagepay.

Cautionary Deposit:

  1. A cautionary deposit of £250.00 is required prior to your check in. The day before your arrival we will pre authorise your balance payment card for this amount. Should you wish to use an alternative card then please ensure you have this card readily available when making your balance payment. (Please note you can use a credit card for this without incurring any charges).

When you submit an online reservation, you will receive an automated reservation confirmation. Please contact the reservations team with any questions you may have.

How can I pay

We accept debit cards (no charge), credit cards (2.5% surcharge) and international bank transfers.
We do not accept cheque payments.
